Spatial Managed Services
Tonkin Consulting has been synonymous with asset management and spatial data solutions for more than a decade now. In response to the needs expressed by several of our existing clients, Tonkin Consulting is pleased to announce that we now offer hosted and managed services for both asset management and spatial applications.
Malcolm Guy, our Spatial Business Development Manager, will manage and coordinate the provision of this new service. Malcolm comes to us with extensive experience in local government, as well as significant expertise in hosted and managed services through his work in the IT industry over the past 20 years.
Our Asset and Spatial Managed Services will enable clients to have secure access to their applications and valuable data via the Internet, from a wide variety of web-enabled devices. This service will be maintained and managed by experienced engineers and spatial technicians, who are able to provide valuable output and concise information for reporting purposes.
As well, the following applications will be available through this new service by the end of 2007:
- Road Surface Manager (RSM)
- Conquest.
Other planned applications intended to be made available through the service in early 2008 include:
- MapInfo Professional
- MapInfo Exponare.
