Liam steps into the role at an exciting time for Tonkin's Mining & Resources team as demand continues to grow for integrated infrastructure and engineering solutions that support the development and operation of mining projects nationwide.
A long-standing member of Team Tonkin, Liam joined the business in 2019 as a civil engineer in the transport infrastructure team. Since then, he has built a reputation for strong technical knowledge and skilled project management across multi-discipline projects. Drawing on his technical grounding, client-focused approach, and deep understanding of complex project delivery, Liam will now guide the program's strategic direction while continuing to build strong relationships with clients and industry partners.
While stepping away from the Program Manager role, Mal Wilkinson will remain a valued part of the business, transitioning into a more technically focused position where he will continue to apply his extensive industry knowledge to support projects, clients and our people.

Tonkin's Mining and Resources team provides multi-disciplinary engineering, supporting mining infrastructure through civil and earthworks design, stormwater management, water and wastewater services, structural engineering, transport infrastructure and aerodrome design.
