Now in their 28th year the Sunshine Coast Business Awards provide a platform from which outstanding businesses can shine and set a benchmark for others to follow.
Tonkin has two offices in Queensland – in Maroochydore and in Brisbane. Our Queensland team currently has more than 40 staff members, with 10 staff in our Sunshine Coast office. Tonkin’s Sunshine Coast team is lead by Operations Manager Tom Oliver and Principal Engineer Ricky Worn, who are supported by a talented team of engineers, designers and drafters.
Tonkin’s Sunshine Coast team has a strong reputation in structural engineering. Structures – places where people live, learn, do business and get active – play a fundamental role in the everyday lives of people on the Sunshine Coast.
Further growing Tonkin’s business in the structural and civil engineering space is one of the company’s key strategic goals, particularly on the Sunshine Coast. Our goal is to grow the size of our Sunshine Coast office by 50% over the next three years.
From master planning of development projects through to feasibility studies, detailed design and construction phase services, our integrated, multi-disciplinary team assists our clients to maximise returns from their capital expenditure.
We work with architects, developers, and local and state government agencies on green and brownfield development sites across the Sunshine Coast to shape communities with a superior level of amenity.
Through sensitive planning, we are helping to develop infrastructure that is functional, attractive and connected, elevating the places in which Sunshine Coast residents live, work and play.
Winners will be announced at a Gala Dinner and Awards Ceremony at the Sunshine Coast Convention Centre on 11 November.
