As part of our continued growth in South East Queensland, we're proud to announce the opening of our new Gold Coast office, located in Bundall. The new office will allow us to further expand our engineering, environmental and consulting services to clients across Australia's east coast.
In recent years, Tonkin has embarked on a strong, sustained growth journey, forming a national team of more than 220 people, across nine offices around Australia.
With our head office located in Adelaide, the opening of our Gold Coast office builds on our expansion in the Sunshine State, which included the opening of a new office in Brisbane in 2019 and in Maroochydore in 2021.
Our new office will allow Tonkin to provide localised support to our existing Gold Coast-based clients, in addition to forming new client and partner relationships in the Gold Coast region, as well as northern NSW. The first team members in our new office are existing Tonkin staff and Gold Coast locals, who had previously been commuting to Tonkin's Brisbane office.
Together, our three Queensland offices will provide a broad range of engineering, environmental and consultancy services to clients in the local government, transport, structures, waste, water, urban development and environmental sectors.
