Supporting the delivery of Willogoleche Wind Farm.
What we did
Tonkin was engaged by CATCON on several occasions, to support works on the Willogoleche Wind Farm in South Australia’s Mid-North.
Our team reviewed and updated CATCON’s existing Traffic Management Plan and undertook a Road Safety Audit covering the roads from the proposed Willalo Road substation through to the wind farm construction site.
Tonkin also completed a pre-construction dilapidation survey across all roads along the heavy-haul route, documenting the condition of pavements and roadside assets. The survey was delivered using a specialist Network Survey Vehicle equipped with multi
-laser profiling and on-car cameras, supplemented by targeted inspections of drainage structures, retaining walls and roadside infrastructure.
Following the completion of construction, Tonkin undertake the post-construction dilapidation survey, repeating the route assessment and providing a detailed comparison of pre and post-construction conditions, including identification of any repairs or deterioration that occurred during the construction phase, as well as works still to be completed.
