James has extensive experience in design engineering, project engineering, design management and project management for a diverse range of transport infrastructure, rail, industrial and mining projects for both Australian and global clients. His primary interest and competency areas are design management and project management for large multidisciplinary projects, where his technical knowledge, organisational skills and leadership qualities allow him to build strong team relationships and deliver co-ordinated, high quality project outcomes.
James couples his experience with a pragmatic and practical approach to projects with a keen focus on safety in design, hazard identification, discipline co-ordination and detailing, constructability, and maintenance issues.
